Celebrating Home businesses in Eagle Mountain

We're excited to announce a new initiative here at the Eagle Mountain Chamber of Commerce that's all about celebrating the heartbeat of our community: home-based businesses. Starting this year, we are expanding our Business of the Month recognition to include these vital contributors to our local economy.

Melissa Clark, our Chamber President, expressed her enthusiasm for this new endeavor, stating, "Home-based businesses make up over 80% of the 850+ businesses in Eagle Mountain, so we want to recognize and celebrate them for all of their hard work."

Home-based businesses are the backbone of our community, fueling innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. Despite operating from home offices, garages, or small studios, these businesses play a significant role in shaping the economic landscape of Eagle Mountain.

By shining a spotlight on these entrepreneurs, we aim to showcase their achievements, dedication, and impact on our community. Whether they're crafting handmade goods, offering professional services, or launching innovative startups, home-based businesses contribute to the vibrancy and diversity of our local business ecosystem.

Our Business of the Month recognition will now encompass these home-based businesses, with a separate recognition for just home-based businesses, giving them the recognition and support they deserve. Each month, we will select one outstanding home business to spotlight, sharing their story, achievements, and contributions with our community.

We encourage you to nominate deserving home-based businesses for this recognition, as we continue to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit that thrives within Eagle Mountain. Together, let's uplift and support our home-based businesses as they continue to make a difference in our community.

Dow Tax & Accounting: Celebrating Growth and a Decade of Service We recently had the pleasure of attending Dow Tax & Accounting's grand opening celebration for their new office space, marking both a significant expansion and Eric Dow's impressive ten years in business. Eric's journey began with a simple goal: to assist individuals in maximizing their tax returns and planning for future financial stability. Starting small from his home office, he gradually built up his clientele, eventually moving into a commercial space before settling into the new, larger office just a few doors down. The celebration was a testament to Eric's dedication and the hard work of his team. It also highlighted the continued commitment to providing exceptional service to clients in Eagle Mountain and the surrounding areas. As we congratulate Eric and the Dow Tax & Accounting team on this milestone, we look forward to seeing their continued success in the years to come.
