Kathie Leany

Kathie Leany works with the Workforce Development department at Mountainland Technical College. As a service to the community, she uses state funding to help employers pay for conferences, certifications, seminars, and employee/management training. She loves making a difference in the community by helping to improve the skills of the Utah workforce. She has facilitated many companies in training their employees with the help of state funding through the Workforce Development team.

After earning her bachelor’s degree in education, Kathie spent most of her career as the director of admissions and the director of Career Services where she trained, coached, and supported hundreds of people through the stressful process of changing careers once they completed college. Kathie is heavily involved in several chambers of commerce and is a board member of Eagle Mountain Chamber.
